This season was filmed during my travels in 2023 in New Zealand, Australia, and Japan. There were nine episodes – in chronological order as they were filmed (New Zealand, Australia, Australia/Tasmania, Japan) save for the very first episode, which features my composition Forgotten Summer and which was filmed in Australia.
Episode 1 – Australia. My own composition Forgotten Summer.
Episode 2 – New Zealand. Two of Bernard Andres’s Dyades with special guest Anna Dunwoodie
Episode 3 – New Zealand. A rainforest, waterfall, and “The Little Fountain” by Samuel O. Pratt.
Episode 4 – “Pistache” and a windy day in the Grampion mountains of Australia
Episode 5 – “Vanille” performed high above a valley during a break in the rain in the Grampion mountains of Australia.
Episode 6 – “Le Dodo” filmed near Mt. Wellington in Tasmania
Episode 7 – “The Last Rose of Summer” filmed in a palm forest in Tasmania
Episode 8 – Chopin’s Nocturne, Opus 9, No. 2, filmed in the mountain tops of Japan outside of Yokohama
Episode 9 – my own “Fantasy on Greensleeves” filmed under cherry blossoms in Japan.
